Alexis Wineman, the reigning Miss Montana, hopes to be the first Miss America with autism when she competes in the televised pageant this weekend. Diagnosed at age 11, Wineman, now 18, has spent the past six months promoting autism awareness in her current role and hopes to do that on a national scale by becoming a finalist.
