Antidepressant Use May Double Autism Risk

Taking antidepressants during pregnancy substantially increases the likelihood that a child will have autism, a new study suggests.

cnoe: Raised in New Mexico in the 50's & 60's. Worked with public school programs for students with disabilities for 30+ years, mostly as a director of special education. Worked for 2 years at a small residential state school for individuals with mental retardation. Now working with a state project that provides training and information for parents of children with disabilities. I was on the board of the state association for directors of special education.
