Fecal transplant may benefit youths with ASD

Researchers found that children with autism spectrum disorder who were given fecal transplants had 24% and 45% lower ASD symptoms after eight weeks and two years, respectively, compared with baseline. The findings in Scientific Reports also showed that the association between fecal transplants and improved digestive symptoms persisted two years after treatment.  Tech Times (4/13),  New Atlas
