Review highlights evidence-based practices for autism

Researchers have identified more than 20 "evidence-based" practices for individuals with autism. In a review of more than 29,000 studies published between 1990 and 2011, researchers determined cognitive behavior therapy, scripting, picture exchange communication systems and 24 others had substantial research backing their effectiveness as autism interventions. The review was funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Disability Scoop  http://www.disabilityscoop.com/2014/01/21/which-autism-work-best/19037/
