IPads give students with disabilities access to high-school band
Students with disabilities at a New York City high school use iPads to play in a school band. The iPad removes barriers that prevent some students from playing traditional instruments and allows them to learn the art of music-making, teacher Adam Goldberg said. "They all support each other," he said. "It doesn't matter who is taking the solo. They're essential to making the whole thing work. That translates to a wider idea of socialization out in the general world."
