In utero exposure to sex hormones tied to autism risk

UK researchers examined amniotic fluid samples from 275 individuals and found that children who had been exposed to high estrogen levels in the womb were more likely to develop autism. The findings were published in Molecular Psychiatry.  HealthDay News
