Life after Foster Care

With powerful stories, artwork, & guidance from more than 100 alumni, FLUX was written to support young people in the emotional transition from foster care to adulthood. There are many places to learn about things like how to rent an apartment, balance a checkbook, get into college & other independent living skills. FLUX isn't about that part of transition. FLUX is an honest, useful & juicy look at what it means emotionally to become an adult after growing up in the system. FLUX brings real-life expertise that can only come from those who have experienced foster care first hand. We explore bio family relationships, building support systems, parenting, & intimacy topics.
