GirlForward pursues self-sufficiency for millennial refugees


The Austin, Texas, chapter of GirlForward offers free programming for millennial refugee high-school-age girls in its community that may lack education and other resources needed to become self-sufficient. Texas is home to the second-largest refugee population in the country, and data shows it takes an average of seven years for them to become fully self-supporting.   Politico
