Inclusion of people with disabilities in schools & the community is a topic of high interest to many. I found some material you should be aware of. It is called the Inclusion Series - Videos about Inclusion into School and Community. There are 10 videos: Choices; Step by Step: Heather's Story; Friendship; Inclusion Issues for Educators; Families, Friends, Futures; Together We're Better; Best of the Inclusion Series; Inclusion High; Heather's Story: Program Highlights; Jackie: Program Highlights.
There is an institutional version and a home version. The home version is cheaper, but is not to be shown to institutions or the public and does not include the same features as the institutional version. The institutional videos range from $75 to $125 (DVDs are higher) and all 10 are $795. If a school will not buy them, perhaps a library, university or parent organization might be interested in purchasing them.
Information is available at www.inclusionseries.com/ Also look under Resources to find information on inclusion and inclusion-related links including "National/Global"; "State/Local"; "listserves"; "Online Libraries".
