Web Accessibility for Users w/ Intellectual Disabilities
"Cognitive Disabilities and the Web: Where Accessibility and Usability Meet" is on the National Center on Disability & Access to Education website. The article notes that the diversity of ability & experience of users with cognitive disabilities has thus far thwarted attempts to develop web accessibility guidelines for this population. To design websites that are easier for users with cognitive disabilities to use, the author offers suggestions based on basic usability principles.
