Do E-readers help Improve Reading for Students w/ Disabilities

More educators are using e-reading devices -- such as Apple's iPad, Amazon's Kindle and the Intel Reader -- to encourage and improve reading among students with reading disabilities such as dyslexia. Some teachers say features that allow users to quickly convert text to audio files or change the size of the type are especially helpful for struggling readers. But others caution that more research and professional development for teachers is needed before school invest in e-readers.
