Martial arts builds confidence for children w/ special needs

A number of martial arts studios in Illinois are adapting instruction for children with special needs. Some say the modified moves can help improve the children's muscle strength and coordination, as well as their confidence. "There's many ways to do the same techniques, so if someone can't do something one way, we come up with different ways for them do to it," one instructor said.
