Study sees Higher Rates of Hearing Loss among Teenage Girls
Researchers found that the number of teenage girls who experienced a form of hearing loss rose to 17% in a recent survey from 12% in a previous survey. The recent study also found an increased number of teens who reported listening to portable music players during a given day, which could explain why girls are catching up with boys' rates of hearing loss.
