Robot offers social practice for children w/ autism

Scientists at the University of Hertfordshire, in England, have developed a robot aimed at helping children with autism learn and practice social skills. Children with autism at a local preschool have weekly sessions with researchers and the robot, Kaspar, which is used to teach them about others' emotions and physical contact.
