Kno offers free iPad app

Textbook-centric Kno has released a free iPad application that gives students full access to textbook layouts, highlighting, note taking and sharing and a book manager that sorts by the course. According to this report, the release of an official app from Kno, which previously sought to sell its own tablets, is a sign that the company is fully exiting the hardware market.
