A decade or so ago, a common dream of the people with disabilities, as for most of us, was to go on a trip by themselves or with friends. A few travel services existed, mostly providing trips to younger travelers to destinations within the U.S. Since then travel for people with disabilities has grown into a huge industry, with over $13.6 billion spent on travel annually, including $3.3 billion on air travel and $4.2 billion on lodging. Today, many agencies are providing services for the sophisticated worldwide traveler with disabilities. Check out one of them at this link: http://www.easyaccesstravel.com/portal/.
