Australia makes investment in students with special needs
About one quarter of the federal funds provided to improve resources for students with disabilities will go to train teachers. The money -- about $48 million over two years -- can be spent on technical aids, teacher training or more staff. Officials say the funding will help schools develop the skills of students with special needs.
