Students with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder must receive appropriate support in school if their condition is found to affect their learning, according the Education Ministry in Ontario, Canada. Unlike autism or other learning disabilities, ADHD, which affects at least 5% of the province's school-aged children, has not been included among the conditions requiring schools to provide special education.
