Study finds parents are involved in the IEP process

A majority of parents of students in special education say they are satisfied with their level of involvement in the individualized education program process, a new study shows. Researchers surveyed the families of more than 10,000 students with special needs and found that most attended IEP meetings and were satisfied with their role.
