■Apple to enhance disability accessibility on iPhone, iPad devices

An update to Apple's iOS software will help make iPhone and iPad devices more accessible to individuals with disabilities, officials with Apple said this week. The update also will include a new "Guided Access" feature designed to help users with disabilities such as autism "remain on task and focused on content" by allowing parents and educators to limit access to a single application at a time, the officials said.
