Engineers create glove that makes sign language into spoken words


Students at Cornell University say they came up with the astounding invention in just five weeks with a $75 budget. The inventors are working on patenting the technology that allows sensors in the glove to detect the gestures associated with all 26 letters in American sign language. The engineers said they hope it will help people who cannot hear communicate better with those who can.
