Study: Social programs have long-term benefits for teens with autism
Teens
with autism can continue to retain improvements in social skills resulting from
intervention programs, a new study shows. Researchers at the University of
California, Los Angeles, found that teens who participated in a 14-week
social-skills program exhibited improved social functioning and interactions
with peers both during the program and after it ended. Disability Scoop (6/13) http://www.disabilityscoop.com/2012/06/13/even-teens-social-gains/15840/
