How collaboration benefits students with special needs in all settings
Special educator Janet Dunn, headteacher at a school for students with special needs in the United Kingdom, writes in this blog post about a program in which teachers at traditional schools receive training from special educators and students with and without language, communication and speech disabilities are paired for weekly lessons. The arrangement has benefits for teaching and learning among educators as well as students in both types of schools, Dunn writes.
