Students with disabilities face barriers to post-secondary services
Improvement is needed among federal government programs that aim to prepare students with disabilities for life after high school, according to a report released Monday by the Government Accountability Office. Many barriers exist for students seeking services such as tutoring, assistive technology and vocational training, the report found, along with disagreements about who should be responsible for paying for such services.
