Sign-language teaching app features actress Marlee Matlin

MEDL Mobile has teamed with Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin on a new application that teaches American Sign Language. The app, called Marlee Signs, features Matlin delivering lessons on vocabulary and everyday expressions, and it is being sold in lesson packs. "There are a lot of books out there teaching sign language, but it's hard to learn because they aren't visual; they aren't in three dimensions. [In] an app, you can see it move, see it work, see it sign," Matlin said.
