Individuals with autism learn communication skills through comedy


Matt Kaiser, 39, who was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome at 35, found a way to express himself by performing comedy and is teaching other adults with autism the same techniques at Towson University's Hussman Center for Adults with Autism in Maryland. "One of the reasons I think he wanted to do this was he wanted to help other autistic people learn other communication modes where they're comfortable," job coach Susan Howarth said.
