Report explores global state of children with disabilities

The United Nations Children's Fund -- UNICEF -- released its annual assessment of the issues facing children around the world. This year, the report focused on children with disabilities. In general, the report showed children with disabilities are often neglected and abused, making them some of the most marginalized individuals in the world. Advocates say attitudes need to shift away from seeing children's deficits and toward appreciating what they can offer to society.
