The Genetics of Dyslexia and Language Impairment


New research from the Yale School of Medicine identifies the pathways for fluent reading, the components of those pathways, and how they interact. Researchers believe they're on their way to being able to offer a pre-symptomatic diagnostic panel, which will help identify children at risk for LD before they experience difficulty in school.  http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2013-06/yu-yru061313.php
