Is Inclusion the Best Educational Model


 The U.S. Department of Education is funding a five-year project through Kansas University to break down education into silos, such as those for special education, general education and second-language programs -- changing the way schools and classrooms are organized and ensuring students have better access to services. Researchers will examine existing inclusion programs at six schools, which will serve as models or "knowledge-development sites."
