Supporting Students w/ Dyslexia
Streamlining assignment layouts and including illustrations with written directions are some ways educators can tailor their lessons to better meet the needs of students with dyslexia, writes David Imrie, a biology teacher and special-educational needs coordinator at Ashcraig School in Glasgow. In this blog post, he notes that while educators' approaches to students with dyslexia should be individualized, there are some common technology tools and other resources educators can try out in the classroom.
