Poll: Tablet computers make inroads in special education
Tablet computers such as iPads are popular choices among educators working to make education more accessible for students with disabilities, according to a recent SmartBrief on EdTech poll in which 70% of respondents reported using such devices in their school or district. Nearly 68% of respondents said online learning can be valuable in special education in combination with other in-person supports. A small percentage of respondents -- 10% -- said they use video conferencing to deliver related services.
