ADHD plus asthma linked to higher risk of depression in teens
The odds of developing any depressive disorder was higher among teens with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder than the control group, but the risk increased further for teens with ADHD and asthma, Taiwanese researchers wrote in the Journal of Affective Disorders. Among teens with asthma alone, the depression risk did not increase during the study period.
