ADHD drug use continues to climb in U.S.

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder drug use increased almost 19% among children between 2008 and 2012, while use of such medications nearly doubled among young adults ages 26 to 34, according to an Express Scripts report released Wednesday. The report showed that 9.3% of boys and 4.4% of girls aged 12 to 18 were taking ADHD drugs in 2012.
