Some children lose their ADHD diagnosis later in life
A study of 120 3- to 6-year-olds diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder found that 70% retained the diagnosis years later. Among those who did not meet the criteria for ADHD during follow-up, more than 50% were diagnosed with other conditions, including autism and learning disabilities. The findings appear in the journal Pediatrics. DailyRx.com (3/16) http://www.dailyrx.com/children-adhd-may-not-keep-diagnosis-over-time
