Study considers use of iPads during autism therapy

Children with autism who have access to an iPad during traditional therapy may make more progress with communication and interaction skills than peers who do not have such access, according to a recent study. Almost 78% of students using the tablets in the study improved on a quarter or more of their targeted measures, compared with 62% of students without the devices.
