Report examines poverty among individuals with disabilities

Nearly 29% of individuals with disabilities live in poverty, according to a probe by the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. In a committee report, more than 400 individuals with disabilities describe employment obstacles, ranging from fear of losing benefits to discrimination.
