Autism tied to apraxia, study finds

A study in the Journal of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics found that 64% of children with autism spectrum disorder also had apraxia, a rare speech disorder. Screening for apraxia may be warranted in some children with autism, the findings suggest.
