This issue of Attention Research Update reviews a recently published study in which the driving performance of teens with ADHD was examined using a driving simulator. The researchers were particularly interested in whether the teens overestimated their driving competence relative to how they actually performed, & whether overestimating driving competence may actually contribute to dangerous driving behavior.
