RoadMap to Transition

The transition from school to adulthood is a journey and, like any journey, a roadmap is helpful. Roadmap to Transition: A Handbook for Autistic Youth Transitioning to Adulthood is a great resource guide published in November 2016 to help navigate smoothly and successfully through the transition process. Along “The road map” you can read the guide in its entirety or you can search the table of contents for links to the stand alone chapters of your interests. Chapters focus such topics as self-Determination and self-advocacy, making the transition plan, post-secondary education and employment, housing and independent living, as well as national and state resources that may be utilized.
