Youths with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder whose mothers
and fathers underwent a program aimed at strengthening parenting skills had
improved parent-reported ADHD behaviors, social skills and peer interactions,
researchers reported in the Journal of Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. The
findings were based on a review of 11 studies involving children with ADHD ages
3 to 8.
