Children with ADHD may benefit from parenting program

Youths with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder whose mothers and fathers underwent a program aimed at strengthening parenting skills had improved parent-reported ADHD behaviors, social skills and peer interactions, researchers reported in the Journal of Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. The findings were based on a review of 11 studies involving children with ADHD ages 3 to 8.
