Robotic device offers independence to student


Heath Montgomery, who has cerebral palsy, has gained more independence at his Montana elementary school by using an Obi robotic device that allows him to eat lunch with his classmates without assistance from an aide. The 9-year-old uses a keypad to direct a mechanical arm with a spoon to scoop food from a bowl into his mouth.   Billings Gazette (Mont.)
