Nonprofit supports STEM lessons for girls

The nonprofit Techbridge Girls supports science, technology, engineering and math after-school programs for girls in fourth through 12th grades in the San Francisco Bay area, the area around Seattle and the Washington, D.C. region. The program is expected to reach about 800 girls this year, and CEO Nikole Collins-Puri says that helping girls learn more about STEM makes them "more conscious stewards of the environment."   EdSurge
