School turns buddy program into mentoring class

Students at a Florida high school can take a class in which they mentor students with special needs and teach them life skills. The class grew out of a Best Buddies volunteer program, and coordinator Jennifer Mackler says the class promotes inclusion as well as equips students with disabilities with tools for independence.  Full Story   : WBBH-TV (Fort Myers, Fla.)
