Epilepsy Genome Project

The Epilepsy Phenome Genome Project (EPGP) isa large study created to identify genes that influence epilepsy & genes that affect an individual's response to seizure medication. The National Institutes of Neurological Disorders & Stroke is partnering with major epilepsy centers around the country for this five-year study. Participation involves donating a blood sample & answering questionnaires. Numerous safeguards are in place to protect the privacy of participants, & participants are not required to travel to a study center. http://www.epgp.org/Pages/Default.aspx
