Researchers seek information on autism & wandering

The Interactive Autism Network is beginning a survey today to determine how many children with autism have a tendency to wander away from home or school. Researchers are seeking information about who is most at risk for wandering and how best to address the issue. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is proposing that wandering be added to the list of symptoms used by clinicians to diagnose autism.
