The World Report on Disability was launched June 8, 2011 at the UN Headquarters. This report by the World Health Organization (WHO) & the World Bank summarizes the best available scientific evidence on disability & makes recommendations for action to support the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2006). The report will also provide new disability prevalence estimates, identify the needs of people with disabilities, and highlight what works to ensure their access to health & rehabilitation services, education, & employment among others. In preparation for the launch, WHO is promoting four short videos focusing on the theme "What is Disability to Me?" featuring women with disabilities from Tanzania, Lebanon, United Kingdom and Bolivia. These videos explore how these individuals have faced and overcome barriers. For Faustina's story and links to the other videos.
