Student inventors create assistive-tech devices for their peers
A summer enrichment program for high-school students in Canada focused on designing and creating assistive devices for children with disabilities. About 500 students attended the camp and created prototypes of 50 devices, including a controller allowing children with restricted lower-body mobility to play "Dance Dance Revolution" and other video games that promote physical and cardiovascular activity.
