Report: Students with special needs more likely are to be overweight

Children with disabilities and special medical needs are more likely than those without disabilities to be overweight or obese, according to a report by the Health Resources and Services Administration. The report is based on results from a 2007 survey and also has concluded that children with disabilities or special needs more likely were to have repeated a grade in school, or have a parent who said he or she "usually or always" felt stressed.
