An
open letter to Nike CEO Mark Parker from a 16-year-old Florida student with
cerebral palsy has going viral on Twitter. Student Matthew Walzer is asking that
the company create a line of self-lacing shoes for wearers with disabilities.
"My dream is to go to the college of my choice without having to worry about
someone coming to tie my shoes everyday," Walzer wrote. "I hope that ... Nike
will consider being the forerunner in producing athletic shoes that will make
the difference in the quality of so many lives." Disability Scoop (8/10) http://www.disabilityscoop.com/2012/08/10/nike-asked-shoes/16234/
