■International studies enrich learning for students with disabilities

International exchanges are part of the curriculum for some students with disabilities, including exploring different cultures and connecting with students in other countries, blogger Nick Morrison writes. One school in England partners with a one in Finland to collaborate on projects, while another British school exchanges staff with their counterparts at schools in Northern Ireland. "It gives us the opportunity to look at what happens in other countries and to benchmark ourselves," said Colm Davis, head teacher at Tor Bank School in Northern Ireland.
